E8018 Low-Alloy High-Tensile Welding Electrode
The E8018 is a low-alloy, low-hydrogen stick electrode designed for welding high-tensile and high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steels. It delivers high-strength, crack-resistant welds with deep penetration and excellent mechanical properties. To prevent hydrogen-induced cold cracking, preheating the base metal (typically 150°C–200°C) and dry rod-oven storage are recommended. Ideal for demanding structural and machinery applications.
