Stainless Steel Welding Electrode (E308L / E316L)
These stainless steel stick (SMAW) welding electrodes are available in E308L and E316L grades for high-quality welding of austenitic stainless steels. E308-15/16 is used for welding 301, 302, 303, 304, and 308 stainless, while E316L contains less carbon to minimise carbide precipitation and reduce pitting corrosion — ideal for the highest-quality welds. Suitable for AC and DC, they produce clean, corrosion-resistant joints with good bead appearance.
