The Champ 500 and Champ 600 are heavy-duty, 3-phase inverter-based DC welders designed for structural welding and carbon-arc gouging. Employing IGBT and PWM technology with SMD-based PCB design, they achieve 87% efficiency and a 0.93 power factor with a 100% duty cycle at rated current (20-500A for Champ 500, 20-600A for Champ 600). Both support SMAW and TIG (with an external HF unit), handle welding electrodes from 2.5-6.3 mm and carbon-gouging electrodes up to 9 mm, and include adjustable arc force with auto-reset protections for long-distance welding and gouging.
